No Babe is an iPhone self-control and wellness app designed to help you pause before opening selected apps. You can choose protection modes, schedules and an intervention style to help you decide whether to continue. No Babe is not a medical or therapy service.
No Babe uses Apple’s Screen Time and Family Controls APIs to block apps and app categories you select. When prompted, follow the in-app steps to grant the required permission. You choose apps and categories through Apple’s FamilyActivityPicker. In v1, No Babe blocks apps and app categories only, not websites. If permission is denied or revoked in iOS Settings, blocking may not work until you re-enable it.
Blocking depends on Apple permissions, your device settings and how No Babe is configured. Check that Screen Time permission is enabled, your protection schedule is active, and the apps or categories you want to block are selected. Restarting the app or your device can sometimes help after changing permissions. If the issue continues, email support with your device model, iOS version and a short description of what you expected to happen.
No Babe uses local notifications for reminders and intervention-related experiences, including the Continue Anyway flow. Notifications are not used for advertising. You can allow or decline notification permission when prompted, and change notification settings later in iOS Settings → Notifications → No Babe.
Mirror Check is an optional intervention style that shows a live preview from your front camera alongside a reflective message. The preview is not recorded, saved or uploaded. If you prefer not to use the camera, Breath Check is available without camera access.
Open No Babe, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases. This restores qualifying subscriptions or purchases linked to your Apple Account on the device. You must be signed in to the same Apple Account used for the original purchase.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. You can tap Manage Subscription in No Babe Settings, or go to iOS Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Cancellation and refunds are managed through Apple in accordance with Apple’s policies.
